I can hardly find the right words to tell you how infinitely sad I was to hear about the death of your daughter. The loss of your beloved child must cause you unimaginable pain, and I honestly do not know what else to say except that my thoughts are with you.


From the bottom of my heart, I wish you enough strength to endure this painful time and to be able to carry on. Even though there is probably not much I can do from afar, please let me know if there is anything at all I can do for you. And if you or your son ever feel the need to get away for a while, you are warmly welcome here in Munich.

Her energy and light shined through in every moment. Whether she was showing her caring nature through her love for your dogs or teasing her brother Reiner with her loving and playful ways, the little notes around the house. Watching the adorable relationship between your family was such a joy; it was clear how much love and warmth she brought into your lives.

Over the past few years, I’ve had the privilege of getting to know Thalia through many conversations with you, Heather, and through the special moments we shared, like at our bowling party and other times. She was a beautiful human being, full of life and kindness. I know how much she meant to all of you, and I want you to know that we are here for anything you need. We love and support you deeply.

You were funny, kind, incredible overall and honestly the kind of person I could only imagine being. I loved talking to and being around you, you truly understood me. Thalia Bowen there are no words to express the impact you had on me. I met you my freshman year of high school during swim try outs and was introduced to you by a friend of yours ryleigh. Once swim season started we became closer and got to know each other more. The more we talked we created a stronger connection between each other. You showed me true loyalty within a friendship being there for me and checking up on me during a difficult time in my life. You are that one person who you meet only once in your life who leaves remarkable impacts on everyone who was lucky enough to know you. Thalia I love you so much and it hurts knowing i couldn’t tell you how much i appreciate and love you. I will forever cherish our laughs during practice and the ones out of swim. You are now resting and in peace and i’m forever blessed to be able to call you my teammate but most importantly a friend. I love you thalia, Forever my swim partner.
