Dear Maryann and Family,

As you prepare to come together in the next day or two,  to say your final farewell to your dear mother, I just wanted you to know that you are all in my thoughts and prayers.

I know this will be an especially emotional time as family members travel from Korea to be together and honor her life. May your time together bring not only sadness, but also comfort in being surrounded by family, sharing memories, and celebrating the 96 years of life that your mother was blessed to have.

As you gather for the visitation, funeral, and graveside service, may God give each of you strength and peace. May He gently carry you through these difficult moments and comfort your hearts as you say goodbye.

A Prayer for Maryann and Her Family

Heavenly Father,

Please be with Maryann and her entire family as they gather to honor and lay their beloved mother to rest.

Welcome her mother into Your eternal kingdom and grant her everlasting peace. May Your perpetual light shine upon her, and may she rest forever in Your loving embrace.

Bless the family members traveling from Korea and from near and far. Bring them safely together, surround them with Your love, and give them strength as they grieve and remember a life that touched so many.

May the memories they share and the love of family bring comfort to their hearts. And when the sadness feels heavy, remind them that their mother's love will always remain a part of them.

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May her soul, and all the souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.

We lovingly place Maryann’s dear mother into Your hands. Thank You for the blessing of her long 96 years of life and for all the love, memories, and moments she shared with her family.
After she broke her hip and endured all that followed, eventually ending up in hospice, may she now be completely at peace—free from pain and gently resting in Your loving and merciful embrace.
Please bring comfort and strength to Maryann, her family, and all those who loved her mother. Surround them with Your love and give them peace in their hearts as they grieve the loss of someone so dear.
May the beautiful memories of her long life bring them comfort in the days ahead, and may they find peace in knowing that she is now safely home with You.
