In Loving Memory of Rosa Lucia Chavez
Rosa Lucia Chavez, beloved wife and mother, passed away on October 16, 2026, at the age of 73. She was the heart of our family, a devoted wife to Bonifacio for 37 years, and a loving mother to her two daughters, Ludim and Samai.
Born in Guatemala on June 26, 1953, Rosa demonstrated extraordinary resilience and bravery throughout her life. In 1979, she immigrated to the United States in search of a better life, carrying with her the strength and courage that would continue to define her journey.
During a time when she felt alone, she found solace in God and was baptized in 1982. From then on, her faith became a guiding light in her life. She was always grateful to God for her family and for the peaceful, love-filled life He had granted her. Above all, she instilled in her daughters the blessing of knowing God and accepting His Elección.
Until her very last breath, Rosa remained steadfast in her faith, trusting in God and finding peace in His will. Though her absence has left an unfillable void in our lives, we find comfort in knowing that she is in a better place. With faith in God's promises, we hold on to the hope that one day we will be reunited with her in the Kingdom of Heaven.
Rosa's love, faith, and beautiful spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though we must say goodbye for now, we take comfort in the promise of eternity and the hope of seeing her again.
