Hi Lisa and families,
My name is Carol and I have been a long time friend of Ellie for around 40 years.  Also with her sister Julie.  My deepest sympathy to you and family as you have had a year of heartache with your dad and mom, Julie and now my precious friend Ellie.  My heart aches for all of you.  I pray God's peace and Presence to surround you all every second of the day.  I was totally shocked when I learned of Ellie's passing.  I knew of her symptoms but did not occur to me that it would take her life!    I live in Yucaipa and before covid i spend weekend with Ellie at least every two months.
