Bobby Gene Graham, 95, of Pico Rivera, California passed away peacefully Wednesday, March 25, 2026, at home in Rancho Cucamonga, CA surrounded by family. Bob was born to the late Bruce and Irma Graham, on January 10, 1931, at home outside Springdale, Arkansas. After graduating high school in the 1950’s, Bob relocated to California for employment and joined the Carpenters Union 213. Bob lived in multiple places up and down the state following the work. Bob spoke fondly of living on the central coast at Morro Bay and often visited with his family. In late 1957, through a work opportunity, Bob met his late wife Lois Graham, of 63 years, and married in March of 1958. Bob and Lois seized the opportunity to purchase their family home together in Pico Rivera in the same year and raised three sons and a daughter in that home. They became members and lifelong volunteers at Riviera First Baptist Church, Calvary Chapel and Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF).
During retirement, Bob continued completing several carpentry projects for Lois, family and friends. Bob traveled with Lois across the United States multiple times in their camper. Family connections were important to both Bob and Lois. They visited family in Arkansas, Ohio, and Arizona, almost yearly. Together they visited numerous US National state parks, traveled to Alaska, the Holy Lands and across Canada. Much of their retirement centered around babysitting, taking grandchildren camping, or hosting holiday and 4th of July family get-togethers, which always included home-made ice cream and Bob’s mother’s chocolate cake.
Bob is survived by three sones: David Graham (Becky) of Whittier, CA, Richard (Kelly) Graham of Rancho Cucamonga, CA, and Steve (Nancy) Graham of Oak Ridge, TN; 7 grandchildren Robert and Nicole Graham, Sarah and Sean Graham, Carley Graham, and Jordan Langford and Chloe Silence; 3 great-granddaughters Isabella Cole, Ava and Emilia Langford. Bob was preceded in death by his wife Lois Graham, daughter Pamela (Graham) Langford, parents Bruce and Irma Graham, two brothers, and two grandchildren Makenna Mason-Graham and Jacob Graham.
Bob was a dedicated father, grandfather and great-grandfather, son, brother, and uncle. He devoted his life to serving others and teaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his volunteerism with his church, community and CEF. Memorial Service will be held at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Whittier, CA - Memorial Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601, US, on April 9, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
