Born on August 14, 1947, Willie was a beloved son, husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. A man of deep faith, he lived his life with love, kindness, and a selfless spirit that touched everyone he encountered.
A constant source of love and support, Willie poured his heart into every relationship. He always put the needs of others before his own, and his infectious laugh brought joy to all who met him. His presence will be profoundly missed by everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.
Willie’s passion for helping others shone through in his dedication to spreading the Word of God. He led early morning prayer meetings daily with his team, providing comfort and hope to those who gathered in prayer for our community, nation, and friends. He found deep satisfaction in supporting his community by collecting and distributing nutritious food to those in need—a testament to his immeasurable generosity.
He also cherished life’s simple pleasures: studying the Word of God, spending time with family—especially his grandchildren—cooking his famous red beans, watching football, and engaging in family activities that allowed him to share his warmth and wisdom.
Willie is survived by his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and countless loved ones who will forever hold his memory in their hearts. His legacy of love and devotion will continue to inspire and guide us. Though he may have left this earth, his spirit lives on. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
