Rev. Tomas Colon, age 93, passed away peacefully on May 4, 2024. Pastor Colon was born on September 13, 1930, in San Lorenzo, Puerto Rico to Ramon and Serafina Colon and was raised in Arecibo, Puerto Rico.
Rev. Tomas Colon lived a full life in his 93 years. He was a husband, father of 5, grandfather of 14, great-grandfather of 14+ and even a great-great-grandfather of 2. He was also a brother, uncle, and friend.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Serafina Colon, his wife, Ada Milca Colon, of over 50 years, and his Grandson, Christopher Colon.
He is survived by his 2nd wife, Soaira Colon and his 5 children, Rebeca Lopez (Joel Lopez), Carlos Colon, Lee Ann Ballard (Michael Ballard), Eva Piccolo (Matthew Piccolo) and Hector Colon (Sherri Colon) and all his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and his great-great-grandchildren.
In 1969 Tomas embraced God’s calling to become a Minister and he and his wife (Ada Milca Colon) touched many lives of his 50 plus years as a minister for the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Rev. Tomas Colon was a man of God who loved with an open heart.
Pastor Colon will be greatly missed by his entire family and those who were lucky enough to call him friend, hermano and pastor.
