He graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration from Bryant college, Providence Rhode Island.
He worked for Eastman Kodak for 42 years. First in Rochester, N.Y, then Chicago, Ill., Anaheim, Whittier and Hollywood, CA.
He loved his job and never complained about the traffic or two-hour commute.
He loved going on location of a movie set, and making recommendations to the cinematographer regarding what film would be best for the lighting of the scene they were shooting. He also loved working with the film students on their senior projects, seeing their storybook plans and hearing about how they were going to shoot their final film movie.
Stan and Sally were married 36 years.
Together with their combined family’s they have five children; Stan III, Cristin, Allison, Robin and Ginger.
They have eight grandchildren; Phoebe, Brayden, Robby, Danielle, Brittany, Stevie, Michael, and Tyler. Along with two Great Granddaughters; Annalie and Aftin.
Stan was an intelligent man, read the paper every day, listen to the news daily and loved to watch Jeopardy. His pleasures in life were simple ones. He didn’t fish or go camping much but his love for photography was strong. He was always looking for ways to shoot a photo then he would go into adobe photo shop, improve it, to make it pop.
He could take photos and put them together to look like a seamless panoramic photo.
Nothing would keep him away from his #1 interest, his family!
He loved listening to Phoebe play the Viola, helping Brayden earn his Boy Scout Photography badge, and teaching Robby how to play chess. Attending Michael, Tyler, Danielle, Brittany and Stevie’s graduations.
He hated missing Danielle and Howard’s wedding due to health issues.
He made friends easy and had a quick wit. Example; when he was introduced to me, at the time, my last name was Brodie. His reply was,” I get half my junk mail in your name”.
He was the joy, the love, inspiration to many, and brought happiness to everyone in his life!
He passed away on March 10, 2021.
