Simeona Mona Alonzo Simeona Alonzo San Juan

Mona San Juan, 81 years of age, died on February 23, 2011 at Methodist Hospital in Arcadia. Her death was caused by complications from pneumonia.

Born on April 21, 1929 in Nueva Ecija, Phillipines; she got married when she was 18 years of age to Cayetano San Juan Sr. Their union produced six children, 3 girls and 3 boys. She lived and raised their children in Kamuning, Quezon City in the Phillipines. Her husband died in 1972. She and all of her children, but one, migrated to United States in 1978. She worked as an Electronic Assembler, until she retired in 1999 at age of 70. She was world travelled and particularly enjoyed going on cruises. She liked dancing, cooking and gardening.

Survivors include 4 children: Lina Salvacion, Bella Gacoscos and Eddie San Juan; and a total of 14 grandchildren, all but four reside in California.
