I've only known Randy and Susan for about 10 years or so. I met him through Bible study at church. He had tremendous insight. Our friendship develop over the years with many conversations over the phone or going to Togos for lunch then go for a cruise in Susan's car. I don't know if he ever told about but I had no idea how to drive such a fancy set up. I was used clutches and gear shifts. Randy was a fighter but he held on to his faith. I used to tell him he was the energizer bunny with all his faith. He would say the only reason he's still here because his dad didn't want him up there yet. We would laugh and laugh. Well Randy Our Heavenly Father as was your earthy father has called you home. I will miss our conversations.  See you some day brother. God bless.

Mr Randy and Miss Susie allowed the girls to order anything they wanted… (and Trinity ate it ALL!! After eating lunch!) The ice cream was as big as her head! Geena’s was a little smaller, but had a lighted candle for the birthday girl to blow out.

Birthdays were special for everyone … a catered dinner, Mardi Gras night at the Disneyland Hotel, a dinner cruise on John Wayne’s yacht, another fabulous catered dinner party, a murder mystery dinner aboard the Hornblower, and here… Treating ‘my’ girls to a fabulous Birthday weekend for Geena’s 6th birthday… swimming, a trip to Toys R Us to choose a special present (for both, not just the birthday girl); Randy made (2!) cakes that they each got to decorate their own way, decorating picture frames with dyed beans in bed (to say Thank You), church AND Farrells Ice Cream!! What a generous dream weekend!! Celebrating in typically fabulous Weimer fashion, treating EVERYONE like close family and creating memories none of us will forget!

Randy was my uncle, but he was much more than that. He stepped in when my father stepped out. He always treated my sister and I like his own children. Randy was the definition of kindness and compassion. He was the  embodiment of the Christian values he cherished. If the world was full of more Uncle Randys, it would be a much better place.
