It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our father, Ramon Estrada, on May 2, 2024, at the age of 82. He was born on March 22, 1942, to loving parents Angel Estrada and Emilia Aguilar in Briseñas Michoacán.
Ramon was a cherished husband, father, and grandfather who dedicated his life to his family and provided unwavering strength and support. He will be greatly missed by his wife Guillermina, his children Gabriela, Jaime, and Josue and his grandchildren Viviana, Alex, Emily, James, Joel, Marissa, Sophia. He is survived by his sisters Guadalupe (Duenas) and Maria (Serrano) who loved him very much. He will be missed by his daughters in law Norma, Cinthia and son in law David (Mora).
He had a passion for sports and was a devoted fan of the Dodgers, Lakers, and Chivas Soccer. His favorite NFL team was always the winning team. In his younger years, he enjoyed playing basketball with his family in the driveway, and he loved to have fun with family and friends. He always wore a smile, and he enjoyed singing and dancing at family celebrations. He had an infectious laugh and had the ability to bring happiness and laughter to any gathering. Above all, he was known for his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand to family and friends.
During his professional career, Ramon achieved great success in casting and manufacturing and was highly respected in his field. He was invited by professors to present at USC and worked with famous designers and artists on sculptures.
Ramon leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and compassion, and his memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
A Viewing to celebrate Ramon’s life will be held on May 15, 2024, from 5:30 pm to 9:00 pm at Rose Hills Memorial Park – Memorial Chapel, during the viewing we will have a Rosary Prayer Service at 7:00 pm. This will be followed by a Funeral Service on May 16, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Rose Hills Memorial Park – Memorial Chapel. His final resting place will be at the Garden of Remembrance at 3888 Workman Mill Rd. Whittier, California 90601, Gate 1 Section 12 Lot 2262 Grave 2.
Following the funeral the family invites friends and family for food and beverages at 3001 Rio Lempa Dr, Hacienda Heights, CA.
