Pedro is survived by his wife, Maria, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
He was born July 7th, 1934 on a rainy day in Castro, Mexico. Pedro and his wife Maria both grew up in the small town of Castro, they began dating in 1956 and married later that year on November 9th. They went on to have 9 children. Pedro and Maria moved their family to the United States in 1977. Pedro worked at a battery factory and tended to his apartments. In 1999 he “retired” from the factory, but continued working at his apartments and began helping his wife Maria, “Doña Cuca”, with the grandkids. He would drop the kids off at school in the morning and pick them up at the end of the school day in his little truck.
Pedro enjoyed bringing his family together. He made it a habit to invite everyone out to eat whether it was for breakfast at Denny’s or dinner at the family’s favorite Chinese restaurant. Pedro loved having his family over for weekend carne asadas in his backyard where he would crack his jokes and share his favorite stories. You would find him sitting in his backyard next to “Doña Cuca” in his signature light blue button up, aviator sunglasses and hat as he welcomed you into his home, “pasenle, pasenle”. Even in his last days he was able to bring his family together.
As a family we are sad to lose him physically, we remember him by the beautiful memories he leaves behind. We will remember him everytime we hear an Antonio Aguilar song, everytime we misplace our sunglasses and most of all everytime we see the thing he cherished the most, his wife Doña Cuca.
