Patricia Louise Hrstich

Patricia Louise Hrstich of Arcadia, California passed away September 19, 2024 at the age of 83. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, whose light continues to shine from her heavenly home. She attended San Gabriel Mission Grammar School and High School, and went on to earn her Bachelor's degree and teaching credential from Cal State LA. Pat met and married her late husband, Stan, with whom she shared 37 wonderful years until his passing in 2003.

Pat began her career as a Kindergarten teacher but chose to become a full-time stay-at-home mom after the birth of her first child, Diane. She took great pride in raising her four children: Diane, Gary, Karen, and Cheryl. Pat was actively involved in their lives as a PTA member, Girl Scout leader, and a constant presence on the soccer and softball sidelines, cheering her children on.

In addition to her role as a dedicated mother and wife, Pat gave back to her community by volunteering with various organizations. She later returned to work with the Arcadia Red Cross, where she led the Meals on Wheels program for 28 years, forging strong bonds with the recipients, staff, and drivers she worked with. She was also a proud member of the Arcadia Coordinating Council and the Child Health Council.

Her greatest joy was her grandchildren: Cameron (17), Jordan (17), Mattea (15), and Marley (11), along with her two sons-in-law, Jerrico and Brian. Pat's loving spirit will forever remain a treasured part of all of our lives.
