We had a wonderful aunt,

We had a wonderful aunt,
And that’s the way it will always be.

She’s still keeping an eye on all of us,

Mi mejor recuerdo de mi tía Noemí es lo cariñosa que era con su familia. Tenía una risa alegre que se podía sentir y escuchar por millas. Cuando ella contaba chistes, mis ojos se llenaban de lágrimas de alegría. Era una tía cariñosa y también muy real con nosotros. Me encantaba eso de ella.

En nuestro viaje familiar a Nayarit recuerdo que nos abrazamos mientras ella me decía que nos cuidáramos (mi hermana Steph y mi hermano Rudy) porque lo que nos pasa lo siente tremendamente como si fuéramos sus propios hijos. Nunca olvidaré eso. También me encantó cuando ella y nuestro tío Hedy se unieron a nosotros para nadar en la playa con toda la familia. Parecía tan feliz. Gracias tia por traernos siempre alegría, deleite y sobre todo por darnos todo tu amor.

My top memory of my tia Noemi was how loving she was to her family.  She had a joyous laugh that could be felt and heard for miles. When she cracked jokes my eyes teared up of joy.  She was a caring tia and also so real with us.  I loved that about her. 

On our family trip to Nayarit I remember we embraced each other as she told me to take care ourselves (my sister Steph and brother Rudy)because what happens to us  she feels it tremendously like we are her own children. I'll never forgot that.  I also loved when she and our uncle Hedy joined us for swimming in the beach with all the family.  She looked so happy.  Thank you tia for always bringing us joy, delight and most of all for giving us all your love.


Tia tengo muchisimos bonitos recuerdos de usted . Especialmente cuando todos nos runiamos en familia. Como nos reiamos.Eso es lo que siempre llevare en mi corazon. La quiero mucho tia . La vamos a extrañar muchisimo.

God gave me thirty seven  years of beautiful memories with you, mami. I wish I had more time with you, but now you’re in a better place than Cancun where I wanted to take you… fue la mejor madre del mundo entero. Se dice, Una madre Entiende, perdona, cuida, protege, enseña, olvida, sufre, defiende, pero sobre todo te AMA  más  que a ella misma. ¡El amor que nos dio fue infinito, incomparable!
