Ming Tai Chang, fondly known as James, Oh-bing, or Pop, was born on March 1, 1950 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan. He was a talented golfer who absolutely loved playing the game. He was also a naturally gifted sketch artist. After leaving Taiwan at the age of 28, Ming Tai started his own business in Monterey Park, California. He enjoyed spending his free time with his granddaughters and teaching his sons how to play golf. Ming Tai is survived by his wife Linda, his three sons, Jack, John, Terence, and his three granddaughters, Ariel, Annabelle, and Camila.
A funeral service for Ming Tai will be held Saturday, December 2, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hua Yuan Center - Hall of Wisdom, 3890 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601.
Ming Tai will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, CA 90601; Mill Creek Lawn; Gate: 1, Section: 7, Lot: 10514, Grave: 3.
