It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Michelle Marie Robles-Vazquez, who peacefully passed away surrounded by family on March 30, 2025. She is survived by her parents, spouse Jimmy Vazquez, daughters Alexis, Olivia, Jenna, and grandchildren Aiden and Noah
Michelle was raised in the East Los Angeles, Montebello area, and was residing in Pico Rivera, CA. She was well known within the community and particularly at the local park where she actively participated in the softball program alongside her youngest daughter. Michelle and her husband Jimmy found a second family in the softball community, where they were warmly embraced and appreciated by all involved.
Following her high school education, Michelle pursued various career paths that eventually led her to the healthcare sector. She dedicated several years to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, where she met her husband, Jimmy Vazquez. Her latest role was as a Medical Assistant in a private practice. Michelle formed lasting friendships at each of her workplaces.
Her warm-hearted nature and positive demeanor attracted many people, treating everyone like family. She had a unique ability to connect with every child she encountered, leaving a memorable impact on her grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all who knew her. Michelle's surviving siblings, four brothers and two sisters, will cherish her in their hearts forever.
Michelle maintained numerous long-term friendships, some since childhood, and she considered them an extension of her family. Her passing has deeply affected many, and the family has received considerable condolences and support, which they sincerely appreciate.
Michelle will be remembered for her humor, loving nature, and beauty. Our mother Gloria and the family thank everyone for the texts, calls, hugs, and prayers we have received over the past week.
A memorial service will be held on April 27, 2025, at The Sky Rose Chapel at Rose Hills Memorial Park and Mortuary in Whittier, California, commencing at 1:00 p.m. with a reception to follow. Flowers will be accepted, and a “gofundme” has been established by her immediate family to provide assistance.
