Matthew Wilson was born in Listillion, Letterkenny, Co.Donegal, Ireland on July 13, 1932 the son of Matthew and Margaret he was one of four brothers. He married Kathleen Wray and had their first child Kenneth Raymond in 1956. Imigrated to Winnepeg Canada where they had their second child William Mathew. In 1960 they moved to California and had their third son Samuel Kevin. They resided in Huntington Park California, until 1977 when they moved to Downey California. In 1995 Matt and Kathleen settled in Corona, California. Kathleen passed away in 1997. Matthew retired from Michelin Tire company and continued to live in Corona until his passing on July 20, 2024. Among his many accomplishments he was a Cub Scout pack leader and coach to his sons sports teams. He was a beloved neighbor. Matt enjoyed gardening, golfing and traveling.
Matthew is survived by two of his children William and Samuel and their wife’s Gayle and Leticia, six grandchildren Heather, Cory, Tyler, Trevor, Daniel, and Katie and two great grandchildren Autumn and Colter.
