3 generations together: My mother was that special diamond in my life. She was my everything. 

Going to the market, shopping at Ross/Marshall’s/Citadel etc., and our favorite restaurants will never ever be the same without my mother. 

Mom - Goodbyes are not for ever. Goodbyes are not the end. They simply mean I’ll miss you till we meet again. For now, you will be unseen, unheard, but always near me side by side…

A mother’s love is the greatest gift we receive. I was blessed to have such a caring lady called mother.

Madre,
I will always treasure your good qualities.  You were always there for our family.  Somehow you knew who needed you most and reached out to provide whatever it was that we needed regardless of your limitations. Our vacation trips, our long conversations, our time spent shopping (what you called "my fever" ) our road trips with stops for your cafecito with vanilla and caramel creamer, all these memories will always be in my heart.

I look forward to the day when we can finally enjoy life to the fullest.  When pain and sorrow will have passed, then we will enjoy life forever!  At that time you will have regained your physical strength and youthful beauty!.......Your daughter Silvia

Thank you so much for getting to know you for the past 23 yrs or so.  As a son-in law you left me with the best gift a man could ever have, your daughter Silvia. May we meet again and hopefully my spanish will have improved.  Take care Bertha. Your son-in law , Paul M Ortega.

Gramy, I thank you for being there for us when we needed you. I thank you for picking up Joshua and I from school when we were little. I thank you for always helping mom when she needed you. I  thank you for always making sure we ate and that we were simply okay. I am so thankful that you had the opportunity to meet and love tus nietos, Aiden y Natalia. I miss you so much Viejilla, te quiero mucho. Cuídanos desde el cielo gramy💕

My best friend in life. Mom, I will miss your companionship to get our nails and hair done. Our shopping sprees along with our minor disagreements. Watching your favorite shows on TV….
