My name is Wendou Wu who is her relative living in Japan.
I would like to share what a kind, generous and beautiful human being she was whenever I met her in Japan or in the US.
I will be forever grateful to Aunt Lisa because it was through her magnanimous heart and kindness to my mother that my mother who was a long time Buddhist from Taiwan became a Christian, being baptized in Aunt Lisa’s Taiwanese Church, a miracle which I do not take lightly because my mother then brought my father who was even more stubborn than her to become a Christian and be baptized in my Church in Tokyo Japan. And this all happened while I was drifted away from the Lord, being that Prodigal Son in the Bible! Simply unbelievable! That’s just how powerful, impactful and beautiful Aunt Lisa was to all of us! May she find complete peace and joy in the presence of the Lord and all her loved ones including Uncle Jack, my mother and father.

Auntie Lisa had a very big heart for everyone she associated with. Her boundless love for her son and daughters was extended to all members of the Wu’s family. She was well respected for her devotions to Christianity, social values, education and community services. We will miss her dearly.
