Ms. Garcia, this picture was on my birthday, likely in 2019. It has been 4 years since you left, however your spirit still lives in all of us. The way you continue showing up in my life, is a miracle of life. You gave me more than a job. You became my boss, my role model, my mentor, you truly were and continue to be a second mom to me. Thank you for believing in me, more than I've ever believed in myself. La quiero mucho, I know you are flying high. Thank you for leaving a print in my life the way in which you did.... It has been three years since that very day, I remember it like it was just yesterday. I am slowly working on keeping my professional promise towards my goals in mind, hoping that soon I can satisfy it. Missing you each and every day and I hope to keep your legacy going! 

Also, I went to go visit you today and I took a bouquet of flowers. I actually ran into your daughter Isabella, we talked for a few minutes, it was a pleasant surprise. She looks so much like you! Un abrazo

The last moment I shared with my sister in law Lety was trash picking from her neighbors yard! 😂We laughed so much in those 10 minutes! She had to run inside for a zoom work meeting.  She hesitated because we were having a good time outside. She asked if my kids and I needed anything while we waited for her outside. I said no and we’d be fine.  A few minutes later she came out with some cuties and water bottles.  That was Leti! She always catered to everyone.  I love her and my family and I will miss her immensely. She is now dancing with the angels😇💃🏻

I love you and I will miss you my dear Letty.  

I will always remember Leti dancing and smiling at our family parties! my heart aches to hear this news. I am truly sorry for your loss. My deepest and most sincere condolences to you and your family and may the soul of our dear Leti Rest In Peace! 🙏🏼😇

We enjoyed some of the best moments in a roommate vacation to Mazatlan.  I know that she is somewhere in Beach heaven looking out for her family and friends.  Her kind soul will always be remembered and loved. Grateful for the precious moments shared with her.

One of the “power mommas”, as she said when this photo was taken,  from the DI group of mothers that through the years have been watching each other’s kids grow up together. As a fellow educator, her and I shared many conversations about our work and our hopes and dreams for our children. I will forever remember Lety with her warm smile on and with her constant positive and calm  approach to life. Our hearts go out to the Garcia family. You have an angel looking out for you. May she Rest In Peace. 

I still remember meeting Leti for the very first time as I walked in to the apartment we’d share for the next 3 years while at UCLA. It wasn’t the most positive first meeting. 😀 Little did I know she’d become my bestie! We shared many memories over the years...sad, happy, embarrassing ones. We shared in our weddings, about our children, and our dreams for our children. You know you have a true friend when they know all about you, yet they don’t judge, but love you anyway. Thank you Leti for your love over the years. May you Rest In Peace “mi reina”!
