Josie was our neighbor for a few years and a good friend. She always had a smile on and was very kind to my family.
Her and Joe also treated us like family. I spent many evenings sharing stories and drinks late into the night and will always miss her laugh. You will be missed.

It’s still difficult to accept that you’re no longer with us. Yet, I know you’ll always be watching over us, forever in our hearts. I’ll always remember you as a woman of grace, with a generous heart, remarkable strength, and unconditional love. I will forever cherish all you did for me and my family.

Although my heart aches in your absence, I find solace knowing you’re free from suffering and resting in heaven. I didn’t get the chance to say goodbye, but I know we’ll meet again one day.

May you rest in the peace you so deeply deserve.

It’s still difficult for me to process the fact that you are no longer here with us on Earth, however I know you will always be in our hearts.  I will always remember you as the woman with impeccable beauty and style,  the life of the party, and unwavering strength. I will forever hold close all of the memories we shared - from sitting shot gun with you in the MR2 to grab a bite to eat, to getting through some of life’s most difficult losses. Although my heart hurts knowing you are not here, I find comfort knowing that you are no longer suffering and in Heaven with our Angels.

Mis condolencias a esta familia. Que Dios les de el consuelo. En su corazón por la nueva vida este ser maravilloso. Que sin  duda está alado de nuestro padre celestial  que goses de esa paz que tanto necesitabas.  Mi amiga para más allá de la eternidad se que estás al lado de tu mamá. Disfrutando de ese paraíso. It is with great sadness, I say goodbye to my Sister, my Warrior,  my Greatest Confidant. This is an unexpected, enormous loss.  Josie was like a butterfly, beauty that refused to be contained, a free spirit. I admired her unwavering independence, she was a modern woman. My sister had immense strength, a force to be reckoned with. I have so many beautiful memories with my sister, feel so grateful to have experienced some of the happiest and saddest times of my life with my sister by my  side, who stood convicted to what was right. Josie was loyal to those she truly loved.                             Sister…. To all the times we’ve danced, laughed and the countless hours we shared, from the time of my youth, waiting for the Christmas presents you would send me every year, reminding me not to forget you and how much you loved me. To the days we heard God’s calling to free our precious mother from neglect and abuse. Thank you sister for being my pillar of strength, I will forever miss you.  Until we met again, my beautiful sister. 🦋💙
