Joe Chao passed away September 22, 2024 in Rosemead, CA at the age of 93 years. He was preceded in death by his wife Luisa Chao, who passed away 2 years ago. He is survived by his 3 children, their spouses, and his grandchildren.
He was born in China but moved to Cuba at the age of 17. He later emigrated to the US where he became an owner and chef of 2 Chinese restaurants in Florida.
A funeral service will be held on October XX, 2024 at XX:00 at Fred Hunter’s Funeral Home in Hollywood, FL.
