Jesse Terry Shaw

Jesse Terry Shaw, 76, of Phoenix, passed away on Saturday, March 7, 2020 in Phoenix. Jesse, the retired owner of a machine shop, was born on November 20, 1943 in Siler City, North Carolina to Howard and Midred (Leonard) Shaw.

He owned his own business for 40 years. He was a very hard worker. Jesse enjoyed spending time hunting & fishing with his son, father in law, sons in law & grandsons. He loved going to the White Mountains with his wife Gloria. He loved spending time talking with his daughters. Watching his five grandchildren grow up was a blessing. He was recently blessed with his first great granddaughter. He was and always will be a role model to us all!

He was preceded in death by his son, Steven K. Shaw in 2013; brothers, Joseph Shaw and Frank Shaw. Jesse is survived by his wife, Gloria J. Shaw of Phoenix, daughters, Lisa Jean Schwartz of Mesa and Laura Lynn Woelbel of Fountain Hills, 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.

Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 PM, Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at Tempe Mortuary, 405 E. Southern Ave., Tempe; with a Prayer Service at 7:00 PM. Concluding services and interment will take place at Rose Hills Cemetery in Whittier, California.
