Jano was born on October 12, 1949 to Tanios and Rogina Al-Hakim in Mazraat Yachouh, Lebanon. Her entire life was defined by her love for her family and friends and for entertaining in her backyard overlooking her beautiful garden.
In the early 70's, Jano met Naaman "Joe" Jadeed in Mazraat Yachouh, Lebanon. Jano and Joe went on to have 2 children, Alex and Zouhair. In the late 70's Jano and her family immigrated to the United States and settled in Southern California and lived there ever since.
After many years in the retail and Jewelry business, Jano retired and spent her time visiting her extended family in Lebanon, entertaining her many friends and family members in the states a and tending her beloved garden.
Jano was predeceased by her beloved sons Alex and Zouhair, her parents Tanios and Rogina Al-Hakim.... She is survived by her husband Naaman "Joe" Jadeed, her sisters Marie and Warde in Lebanon and her brother Chaker and their respective families and also by her former Daughter-in-law Magdalena Gomez and her son Alexander. She is also survived by many friends here and in Lebanon that she also considered part of her extended family.
A funeral service for Jano will be held Friday, May 31, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Hillside Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.
