I am so happy I found this Memory. You had just come out of some health issues. This was the Best Birthday Celebration. The entire family was here, your words make me cry.  You were always the life of the party 🥳.  But also the other Man , besides my Daddy, that was a Father figure. You inspired me to get my Bachelor's Degree as you did with a wife and family. I Love and Miss You so much Tio Jaime. I know my Mom and you are having a blast up in Heaven. Please continue to protect and guide us from Heaven.

My Padrino was a great man. He was selfless, kind, strong, and funny. I will always remember all the guitar, math and driving lessons we had. The conversation we had with my wife while we were observing the stars. Our infamous trip to San Felipe when I got seasick, where he ended up in the hospital after slicing his heel on a chunk of coral rock because he was carrying me to shore 😂 
I loved hearing him play the song“House of the rising sun” on his guitar, and always think of him whenever I hear it. 
He is greatly loved and deeply missed.

2019 - two of the most influential men in my life my Nino Jaime and my grandpa Robert. May they both rest in paradise

My childhood is filled with memories of family gatherings. Surrounded my laughs and story tellings

My Tio Jaime was an amazing musician. He always encouraged me to sing

2000 - my parents and Ninos were the best of friends besides being family

My Ninos Jaime and Elvia are baptizing me Gabriela Gabaldon with my parents Armando and Ana Rosa

My Nino Jaime accompanied through all my milestones. This was my 8th grade graduation

Tu gran sonrisa y tu contagiosa carcajada eran el sello de tu personalidad
Tan genuina , tu amor, bondad y gran corazón para tu familia y amigos será siempre recordado por todos los que tuvimos la fortuna de ser parte de tu vida.
Tu tenacidad y actitud positiva es otro ejemplo de el gran hombre que fuiste y seguirás siendo para todos nosotros.
lograste muchas cosas porque nada era imposible para ti y te admiro por eso .
Siempre estaré agradecido de ser tu amigo y no olvidaré tu alegría y amor por la música.
Gracias por ser un gran ejemplo para todos nosotros compadre , estoy seguro que estas cantando en el cielo y tocando tu guitarra alegrando el día a todos como siempre .

I will always cherish the memories with my Tio Jaime. He was always so loving, funny, and happy. Birthdays are my favorite memories with him because we got to listen to his beautiful singing and guitar playing. We miss you Tio.

Having been lucky to of been apart of the Gabaldon/Valdez/Vasquez family I was blessed enough to have been in the presence of a great man that was Tio Jaime. Besides the fact that he was always smiling, laughing, loving , caring, and funny, I got to learn that he was also an incredible engineer who took care of his family and cared for them wholeheartedly. Being a "bonus" daughter never felt like such with  Tio Jaime. He was always so welcoming since the day we met him and for that my siblings, mom, and myself thank him eternally for accepting us into his home and his heart. Although, Tio Jaime is not here on this earth he is still taking care of all of us as he did when he was here . I'll remember him by the memories of him laughing with his best friend Tio Jaime Vasquez, dancing to Nortenos with Tia Elvia, and cracking jokes with his kids, my aunts/uncles and with my father. Having been around his positive and radiating energy/presence I was blessed to see what true love looked like by seeing Tia Elvia and Tio Jaime interacting , I learned what true friendship looked like from seeing him and Tio Jaime Vasquez, and I learned to see how true admiration and unconditional love looked like from seeing my dad interacting with him and Tio Jaime interacting with his kids/ grandkids.  Tio Jaime will always live on in our memories and in our hearts. I can still see his smile when Jackie smiles, I can still hear his laugh when Carlos laughs, I can still see that even with his presence gone Tia Elvia's love still flourishes and will continue to through their grandkids. Thank you Tio Jaime for having accepted us with open arms, for loving  your family endlessly till your last breath, and thank you for giving me the best memories while watching you and my dad join together around your pool/grill. We will miss you.  Nos vemos en el cielo Tio, por mientras sigue cuidando tu famila y sonriendo desde arriba, nos encargaremos de cuidarlos por ti aqui en esta tierra por mientras<3

My Tio Jaime was a man of many talents. He was an Engineer, musician, fisherman worked with construction and plumbing . He did it all. His best talent was being a great family man. He welcomed everybody with big hugs and smiles. My Tio Jaime always gave us his great love, kindness, and Great sense of humor. He has touched all of our lives, being there in good times and bad times . My Tio was the friend , Uncle or  “Compa” we all needed . Thank you Tio for everything .I love you and I miss you . Forever in our hearts.

Jaime was our brother-in-law, but he became my Brother.  Always there to help my family in good times and in bad.  He had the biggest heart.  He loved his sobrinos and they loved him so much. At birthday celebrations, he was always there with his guitar to sing Happy Birthday.   He was the life of the party!  And who can forget the trip to San Felipe "Everybody get ready to go down!" 
He left us with so many happy memories, he will forever be in our hearts.  
We miss you Jaime!!

Every memory of my tio is filled with laughter, love & music. He sang at every birthday, made us laugh at every party and took us on big adventures, like San Felipe & small ones like going to Vons @ 8pm w/ 5 kids packed in his jeep & buying Jackie a ham last minute for a church event 😅. It's a long hilarious moment that I will never forget. He always spoke from the heart so I know when he told me that we could count on him for anything, he meant it. He truly was always there for our family. He helped us all in different ways. I admire my tio for his generosity, intelligence, hard work and determination. He was an amazing person. I'll never forget the little talks we had, they always meant a lot to me.Love you tio.

Once upon a time I received a little envelope with some forgetmenots flowers seeds. 🌸 the seeds have grown in my heat and he definitely will never  be forgotten for he  left an impression in my heart ♥️ 
Elvia you will never be alone you’re one of my sisters and I know this will open your wound once more, rest assure that he will never be forgotten and will be with all of us that loved him.  God gives  you the strength because you will  never be  alone look around you we are your family and his memory lives on through all of us! 
My deepest sympathy ❤️‍🩹 let’s celebrate  his life together and treasure what he gave us all, his love his music his friendship his heart! I love you Jaime…. Elvia I’m  here for you!🙏🙏🙏
