Dear Mr. Fong,
Thank you for always making me feel at home at your house, for your kind & warm spirit, for making all Darin's friends laugh, and for being 'the cool dad' around the block.

Uncle Henry was such a kind, gentle, witty man who I had the pleasure of calling not only my great uncle but an honorary grandfather as well. He filled in the gaps in my family when we lost our grandpa, and attended all our family gatherings and milestone events, including graduation dinners and my wedding. His humor was unparalleled and his presence was so appreciated and welcomed in any setting.. we always knew it would be a good time whenever Uncle Henry was around. The love he had for my family and for Auntie Sherrie was so special, and it breaks my heart that I won't be able to see him again while here on earth. But I'm so happy to know that he's in Heaven now, pain-free and with God. Sending all my love to Auntie Sherrie and the rest of our Fong family. We were truly blessed with the most wonderful uncle.

Uncle Henry was like my grandfather. He was always there for us when we needed him, and always had this policy where we were truly always welcome at his house. He taught me how to care for others through hospitality. He did this in his way of hosting gatherings. He and my Auntie Sherrie were part of my home church, Cornerstone where he always helped wherever he was needed. 

He had this incredible sense of humor and would always mess around with us, showcasing his young heart and witty spirit. Even when he wasn't feeling well, he was always present with us and would do his best to make conversation, even when he started to decline in health. In short, Uncle Henry was always present and his presence brought a great sense of comfort to us. My dad was so close to him and recalls how reliable and trustworthy he was. Always willing to lend a listening ear or helpful hand. 

Uncle Henry, you lived such a beautiful life where you touched so many hearts. You truly served Jesus and although I miss you greatly and think about you often, I know you would take it in stride. Telling me that you are with Jesus now and that Heaven is the most beautiful place.

I offer my condolences to my Auntie Sherrie, and the family as well (Darin, Kesha, Kassidy, and Dylan).

Uncle Henry is one of the most amazing human beings that's ever graced this earth. In true Fong fashion, he's incredibly witty, loving and generous. His sense of humor is what I'll miss most. Being around Uncle Hen always guaranteed a good laugh! When we lost our grandpa at a very young age, he (along with Auntie Sherrie) stepped in as another set of grandparents for us Lows, and we'll forever be grateful. Perhaps what I've learned most from Uncle Hen is to enjoy life to its fullest. He taught me to not rush because when we do, we'll never get the opportunity to truly enjoy even the smallest of joys that life has to offer. We love you so much, Uncle Hen. Sending all our love to the Fong Family.

I went most of my life without knowing what it was like to have a grandfather, but Uncle Henry was the one who stepped into that place. He was always there for me and the family, never hesitating to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.

One of my most cherished memories with him was when he attended Grandparents Day at Biola University. He was just as excited as any other grandfather there. He never hesitated to be there for me and the family when we needed it. My deepest condolences to Auntie Sherrie, Darin, Kesha, and the family. He will be greatly missed.

Our heart is broken. Henry was beloved by his brothers and their wives and children. Henry was a great, generous fellow; we will miss him. We send our best thoughts to Sherrie, Darin and his family.
