Glenda Sherrie Ahhaitty

Glenda Sherrie Ahhaitty of Hacienda Heights, California, passed away surrounded by family on September 9, 2024. She was born August 19, 1941 to Glen and Marita (Ketchum) Griggs in Phillips, Texas. She lived a long life with her late husband Melvin Ahhaitty, who passed in January of 1995. Her first and only love was faithful as a widow to her late husband.

She was preceded in death by her two sons, Daron Ahhaitty and Glen Ahhaitty, her father Glen Griggs and mother Marita (Ketchum) Griggs and Husband Melvin Ahhaitty.

Survivors include son Walter Ahhaitty of the home and daughter Shannon Ahhaitty of Rapid City, South Dakota, adopted Daughter Kelly Slagley of Palm Springs, California and many other adopted children throughout the country.

Services will be at Rose Hills from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on September 29, 2024.
