We knew Gilbert almost 14 years, and our kids knew him their whole lives. We will miss seeing him and his dogs in the evenings. Gilbert patiently answered all my kids’ questions about each of his tools, and he hid Easter eggs in the spring for them to find. He taught us a lot about skillful maintenance, workmanship, and dedication. He was an irrepaceable part of our community and we will miss all his jokes, warmth, and knowledge - the place is not the same without him. Our deepest condolences. 💐

My deepest condolences on the loss of a wonderful man. The tenants and I at Winona Blvd have been thinking about him and wondering for a few months now. I was praying for him. Gil loved cup of noodles, giving milk bones to all our dogs, putting the birds of paradise in a courtyard vase before others stole them from the tree lawn. He lovingly put up lights/American flag/decorations for holidays, helped people with their cars and bathroom plumbing. We’ll miss him loving and yelling at his dogs simultaneously. Complaining. Overcoming. And showing up…no matter what. He was one-of-a-kind and irreplaceable. We’ll miss you Gilbert💕

I’m so sorry to hear of Gilberts unexpected passing. He was a kind and good hearted person. Always cheerful and quick to help others. He was a good friend to my husband, Rick and always kept in contact through all the years. He will be missed. May the Lord comfort your family.

Gilbert was a good man with a big heart. He was a very giving person, always there when we needed him. He would always come to church with his furry companions. He shared many get togethers with us and we enjoyed his company. It seems like we’ve known him forever, it won’t seem the same without him. He will be sorely missed.
