My deepest sympathy. I've had the pleasure of working with Gary briefly on a project. The loss of him is felt by many and we will remember him always and often.

I have known Gary for 40 years. Our two children are the same age. I remember I met Gary when we worked in the same company and later became friends. Sometimes I would invite Gary’s family to my house for barbecue and swimming, so our children are all good friends. I miss that time very much, and I am very happy to know Gary. I hope that Gary can go to another world without pain and be with his loved ones. I will miss you forever.            Tony Tam

On a professional level, 2 things I admire you the most 
1.	You designed this cantilever beam to support the whole building in Seoul when there was no one in the office would design it. When I went to the site during the construction, I saw the beam. I came back and I told you ‘That’s engineering’ 
2.	When the expert who was hired by the roof installer challenged your design at the stadium roof. You said to them ‘If you take any one of these bolts out, I can’t guarantee the safety roof.’ They withdrew their claim. 
On a personal level, you showed me instead of looking for a meaning of life, you gave a life of meaning. 
You are in my heart forever
