I want to take a moment to remember Daniel, a steam friend and an amazing gaming buddy. His brother Chris, who I initially met online and later in real life, introduced us.

Daniel, Chris and I spent countless hours playing different online games together, Despite the challenges of different time zones, and being across the other side of the world, we had time to enjoy our hobby together.

Daniel was a gamer at heart, it would not be odd to see him playing different games in a short period of time. One of things I most appreciate about him was his patience and willingness to help. 

One time a random group of players grouped with us to fight a boss battle, even though I may have (definitely) caused everyone to lose repeatedly, he would encourage me and the group to keep trying, even though the other players were beyond frustrated (not having voice audio helped too). 

The memories and enjoyment we experienced in those virtual worlds are some of my fondest.

Thank you, Daniel for all the fun times. You'll be remembered fondly.
