Thank you very much for the touching and emotional memorial service – with wonderful memories of the great time that we all were able to spend with Chian. Chian had a very rich life with lots of memorable moments. Thank you for the great time that I and Kurt could spend with Chian. It is unforgetable.
I will be thankful forever for Chian´s outstanding hospitality. I will never forget about this and keep it in my heart.

I am honored to have been your friend. You fought a brave battle and expressed a sense of courage few can match.  I always enjoyed our too infrequent visits after college but I think my fondest memory was when I photographed your and Sylvia’s wedding. That was an experience I will always remember. 

Of course, none of us gets a pass from this. But you lived, loved, experienced, and served as an example to all of us.

A dear friend/ “brother” is something I will treasure, whether he stay by my side in this life or await me in the next. Saying goodbye isn’t something I will do. Instead, I’ll remark that I’m looking forward to seeing him again every time I hear a joke, a phrase/word like "chinese dessert" or a photo that reminds me of him. These are the things that will bind us together even after we passed away.  RIP Buddy (Chian)
