Dear Debra,

Barbara Robinson Knox was quite a character with a lovely smile and an infectious laugh! She was your wonderful sister/mother/friend!
A little "bossy" but that was Barbara.

Barbara and I were co-workers for approximately thirty five years and we are members of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

I have so many fond and loving memories of your beautiful Mom, Barbara and your loving sister Benita.  We served on Usher Board #4 at FAME and was apart of a book club. Your Mom was always very gracious and kind when I would come over her house.

To Barbara's family,

My husband, Rod Adams, and I met Barbara through her cousin, Nancy Barrett. We made two trips together - one to Egypt and the other to Australia. We enjoyed Barbara so much. She was gregarious, funny, and a pleasure to be around. It was readily apparent that she loved her family immensely, and that she was so  proud of her grandchildren and their accomplishments. We missed her when she was no longer able to travel, but we will always treasure the time we spent together.  Our payers are with you.

Dear Family:  I am so saddened by the passing of your mom, grandma, aunt, sister, friend.  Barbara and I began working as Los Padrinos Juvenile Hall on the same day.  We were so young and sassy!  We often worked the same shifts and became friends.  And God saw us through to retirement!  We kept up for a time, and would talk occasionally by phone until  her illness made it difficult to keep in touch.  She was always witty and funny and even-tempered.  Heaven has now acquired all she has to give!
