


Dr. Audrey Howard was one of the most loyal members of The Rocky Twyman Chorale at La Sierra University during the early seventies.  She was the featured soloist in the Norman Luboff contemporary arrangement of the spiritual “Nobody Knows The Trouble I’ve Seen.” Her rendition was sincere and full of compassion. She, Camille and Alpha Curry stuck together and sang some serious second soprano.
 Audrey was quick to support all the community outreach projects of the group-beach evangelism; singing at prisons etc. When things got rough, she counseled the interracial group to take things to the Lord in prayer. I will be forever grateful to her for her dynamic support of my choir.

I am so glad I got to speak with her several times this year. Her troubles have now ceased and she is at peace. 

Pat, you were a trooper. Hold your head up high! God is pleased with your awesome caregiving. 

Pat and Audrey, just remember that the members of this choir that promoted love and racial unity will meet at the north gate of the New Jerusalem. 

Looking forward to seeing Audrey, one of my favorite singers. See you soon.

Dear Family, 
It is with deep sadness that I mourn the loss of Audrey.   I will always remember her kindness and support of Ricky and I at a time when I was overwhelmed with care-giving duties for my husband during his long illness.  It is because of her thoughtfulness in including Ricky in various activities, the principles she stood for, her total dedication to her sons , and the prayers she prayed in their behalf, that Ricky benefited by association with her family.  Ricky's life was enriched and forever changed and I will always be grateful and deeply appreciative.
