Well, what can I say ! Aristos and Heleni Rigas had played one of the most significant roles to allow themselves to be used to reach out to a neighbor ( Myself ), who was falling down in his own spiritual walk at a moment when living across the street from this wonderful couple who exhibited the command of what Jesus said “ to love thy neighbor as thy self “,. Well, they both did when I moved in across the street from there home
about 10 years ago or so, I remember Heleni saying something like “ The Lord brought a soul for them to help “, that’s exactly what this couple had done for me, it was Aristos who came across the street to introduce himself to a perfect stranger ( Myself ), and say his name “ My name is Aristos Rigas, I’m Greek, born again and would you like to come to my church ? “, little did he know that I needed him and all the Greek family who were as Oak trees deeply planted in Jesus to help me put life back together again like a broken puzzle. I spent seven years at the Greek church, oversaw the Chuch when members were gone, helped to serve alongside the most loving people  I have yet to meet as a church family. Aristos showed me generosity, his door was always open to me, his home was always welcoming, he fed me always, and we spent many hours in praying and reading the Bible together, he would always say he had the original ( Greek Bible ), he was always ready to ask for forgiveness when he was wrong, he had a great sense of dry humour, and there was never once where I thought that this man didn't love me like a son, I will always miss this man who became a confidant, and companion, I love Aristos Rigas and can’t wait to see him in glory with the One he honored as an imperfect sinner, but as a perfect saint..
