Angel Kayee Chau was born in Guangzhou, China on March 30, 1959 and passed away unexpectedly on November 7, 2024 at home in Arcadia, California. Her father was Zhou (Chau) Bin-Jie, a Chinese literature teacher, and her mother was Hu, Jin-You, a teacher and administrator of adult education. Angel graduated from Guangzhou Fine Art Institute affiliated high school. She was a graduate of Otis Art Institute in Los Angeles. She participated in the work of Chinese Outreach, U.S. Center for World Missions, and Fellowship of Artists in Cultural Evangelism (FACE). Angel illustrated figures of the 30 people groups of China for a new map. She attended First Chinese Baptist Church of Los Angeles and HRock Church. Angel married the love of her life, Clement C Lam, on October 10, 1998. She was a joyful wife and mother, while teaching private art lessons and becoming a leader in cosmetics sales. Angel was a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, loved and adored by her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors are her husband, Clement C Lam, and their son, Godwin T Lam, her brother, Patrick Kin-Yee Chau, MD, and her sister May Yee Lo, their spouses, and 3 nephews, 2 nieces and 2 great nephews and 2 great nieces..
