Amado Astigarraga Quitoriano

Amado Quitoriano, born in the Philippines on December 9, 1940, embarked on a remarkable journey that touched the lives of many. At the age of 18, he migrated from the Philippines to Guam, with his parents and siblings, beginning a new chapter in his life. He pursued his passion for Civil Engineering, earning his degree from a California University.

For over three decades, Amado dedicated himself to his work at Santa Fe Pipeline, demonstrating unwavering commitment and expertise. Later in life, he ventured into entrepreneurship, founding his own Piping Mapping company, leaving a lasting impact on the industry.

Amado's devotion extended beyond his professional life. He shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Excella, and was a cherished father to his children, Marvin, Emily, and Richard. He also held a special place in the hearts of his five grandchildren.

Amado was not only a loving husband but also an amazing father, a beloved grandpa, a caring brother, a dutiful son, and an caring uncle. His generosity knew no bounds, always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family in need. His home was a sanctuary of warmth and hospitality, open to all.

He had an immense love for his family, cherishing moments spent together. Whether strumming Elvis tunes on his guitar or enjoying a game of bowling, he embraced life's simple pleasures with his family. Amado's kindness and friendship made him a cherished companion to many, a true embodiment of the values he held dear.

Amado Quitoriano will be laid to rest in Rose Hills Memorial Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601. Mission Terrace; Gate , Section 3, Lot 3111, Grave 4. He is leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and enduring memories. A funeral service for Amado will be held Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - SkyRose Chapel, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601. Following the funeral service will be a reception from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Rose Hills Memorial Park - GardenView Reception, 3888 Workman Mill Rd, Whittier, California 90601.
