Alfred and I go back many years in the industry . We went through the lean years together with Cliff Wheeler , I at Valley Grain , and Alfred at Casa Herrera. Those were the good old days of calling on the same food customers. Many times we worked together on the same customer. Alfred was always a gentleman and very ethical.
He helped many people in the industry including me when I started Warnock food products. I will miss him very much.

I met Al over 40 years ago, over those years Al and I always had a great business relationship. It developed into a great friendship and incredible memories on the golf course with Cliff Wheeler, Al and myself, those memories will never be forgotten. I have so much respect for Al and the Herrera Family for their accomplishments and leadership in the Hispanic community. Al will be missed by so many. God Bless You Alfred until we meet again. Ever since I met my dear “tocayo” started my job learning experience.
Alfred always had a way to share his knowledge without asking for anything in return.
The most supporting person I ever met.
He touch my life deeply and will be missed terribly.
See you later Al.

Very well said Rudy!
He was a great man and good to a-lot of people, including my family. I was very fortunate to know him and work there.
The company name, “Casa Herrera” Alfred took it to the next level. I will always cherish the memories and his legacy!

Alfred was more then an older brother. Because of our Dad was on the road building our business. Alfred was Dad to many. At work in the plant and industry he spoke his mind and wanted for you to do your best. Alfred had catholic faith and helped many people along the way without letting anyone know. He got me out of jail once lol. He loved his Mt Carmel Crusader brothers and they loved him. Many people on Facebook said many nice things, empathy is a word that someone used to describe him. As I look at pictures of his life, he impacted many people along his journey. I will take what he passed on to us to be a better person. I love you my brother Alfred
