Our Lady of Guadalupe Mausoleum
Part of Mission Hills, a multiphase development at Rose Hills Memorial Park, Our Lady of Guadalupe Mausoleum is an open-air, single-story terraced garden mausoleum like no other. Designed in California Mission style, the architecture celebrates our heritage and pays homage to our history. Inside, the mausoleum will house premium glass-front niches, specialty aboveground memorial options and a reliquary that enshrines the blessed image of Our Lady of Guadalupe and foundation stone from the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe in Mexico City. The exterior will include a series of undulating open-air mausoleum spaces, urn gardens, a niche plaza roof and a beautiful center courtyard with a trellis and fountain.
Once Our Lady of Guadalupe Mausoleum is complete, Rose Hills will embark on development of an exceptional location at the northern slope of Mission Hills, which will include ground burial gardens, a looped visitation road and a grand staircase. The future location of Mission Hills Terrace Gardens is the only remaining south-facing slope property on Rose Hills’ 140 acres of easily developable land. The highest point within Mission Hills, it has an impressive view of Sycamore Lake and the surrounding area and will feature ground burial plots, monument wall spaces, cremation options and semiprivate estates within a stone terraced wall.
