Memorial Chapel

Imagine a beautifully designed, postmodern masterpiece with spires so tall they touch the cotton candy skies of a Los Angeles sunset. Picture a building so grand that it appears to reach up toward the heavens. This is Rose Hills Memorial Chapel. Situated atop a softly rolling hillside among lush gardens with breathtaking views of the San Gabriel Valley, Memorial Chapel presents a serene space for meaningful remembrance and reflection.

Built in 1964 as a memorial to the late John D. Gregg—son of Rose Hills' founder Augustus Gregg—Memorial Chapel is an impressive sight from the moment you enter Rose Hills Memorial Park through Gate 1. With views of its three 90-foot spires from afar, you are immediately drawn to the striking presence and contemporary appeal of Memorial Chapel.
