downtown Alhambra, Golden Chapel is a quiet sanctuary, protected by park-like
frontage along Main Street. Built in 1941, the building’s signature look is
highlighted by its golden-hued Palos Verde stone facade. Inside, the
2,100-square-foot chapel comfortably seats 125 guests. Golden Chapel opens
directly into a private garden courtyard where a fountain, and masonry
depiction of a large good luck coin, enhance feng shui energy.
